Eunice Rogando, Miss Photogenic of the Miss Chinatown 2016 pageant, appeared as a guest on V81 Radio’s Memshie with Tito Mike and Diego last Saturday, September 17.

The 21-year-old Miss Photogenic winner graced the V81 Radio’s studio last Saturday night for a fun-filled interview with Tito Mike and Diego.

Miss Chinatown 2016 was the first ever pageant Eunice joined. When asked whether she had plans to join others, she said, “Pinag-iisipan ko po ‘yong Mutya [ng Pilipinas].”

Eunice mentioned that she joined the pageant against her mother’s wishes. But she still had lots of fun during the event. “Nung gabi pong ‘yon, inadvise lang po sa amin na have fun, enjoy the moment, kasi lahat kami, winners na nung gabing ‘yon,” she related.

Tito Mike and Diego also asked whether she’d be interested to get into showbiz. “Kung open yung doors, then why not… Gusto ko po ako yung heroine… Walang damsel in distress.”

As she sang for the talent portion of the pageant, the hosts urged Eunice to serenade their listeners with a few songs. So, she gave a beautiful rendition of Mavis Hee’s “Cheng Li De Yueguang” (Moonlight In The City) and sang a few lines of Celine Dion’s “Thank You” and Regine Velasquez’s “Dadalhin”.

The interview continued with light banter about what Eunice looks for in a potential partner (“may respeto at gentleman”), other contests she joined (“nag-audition ako para sa Pilipinas Got Talent… Ang galing talaga ng Pinoy!”), and how she recently graduated from Interior Design at the University of Santo Tomas.
